Dreamy Nursery & Bespoke Bedding

Working with Liberty prints always evokes feelings and emotions. It still amazes me how different prints can make you feel, how they can be interpreted and styled. Whatever colour palette you are working on I can 100% guarantee there will be a beautiful Liberty print that just works with it. 

When we pull together our print collections each season we always have an outside inspiration and the colour tones just seem to start dancing at us. Choosing prints that harmonise is one of my favourite things to do. These harmonies can be either through colour tone or print design, I can loose hours of a day knee deep in swatch books, surrounded by cuttings, making sure we capture the feelings of the season.

When we launched our recent FEB18 print collection one of our highlight prints was Katie & Millie in earthy tones. A ridiculously pretty ditsy floral design that originates from the 1920s. We added this print into the collection as a highlight print to style the clothing pieces. It wasn't until we worked with Steffi Martina Hilty that we produced some really pretty bespoke bedding for her daughters serene nursery in it. Seeing the print with our deep rust cotton muslin and the natural undertones of the room accessories really encapsulates how prints can be transformed in different settings.

We love how Steffi has styled the bedding and the images she has taken really display the fluidity, softness and feel of the fabric too. We hope you find it all as inspiring as we do.
