Strawberry Season

For us, strawberry season signals the arrival of summer. Warmer days, blue skies and plenty of picnics. British strawberries appearance in farm shops, on roadside stalls and in supermarkets also means the start of the most delicious fruit season, where we all get the indulge in nature’s bounty of berries. But, of course, strawberries will always be our favourite. Quintessentially British, deliciously sweet, the perfect addition to any summertime meal, and pretty to look at, what isn’t to love? 

Once June arrives we’re making strawberry ice cream, macerating strawberries to have with cream and even using them for our favourite summer tipples. The strawberry season memo didn’t pass the Duchess of Sussex by either, who also recently gave the first glimpse into her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard by gifting jars of small-batch, homemade strawberry jam.
