Coco & Wolf Handmade in England
Coco & Wolf are extremely proud that all of their pieces are handmade in England. With a rich and varied creative history, Britain often paves the way in the most high quality, luxurious and innovative design and as a brand we are continually inspired by this. Our founder Amy has always had an appreciation for British design and her background in fashion buying means she is incredibly well versed in scouting out the very best inspiration and translating it into pieces which continue the celebrated qualities of British design yet sit effortlessly in homes around the world.
Our Somerset design studio is the place where all Coco & Wolf Liberty fabric bedding, homewares and clothing are dreamed up, designed, sampled and eventually made before being packed, by hand, and shipped to you. There is a real craftsmanship behind each of our pieces and in this case, handmade in England, really does mean made lovingly, by hand, in the heart of the South West. We have an exceptionally talented team of seamstresses and pattern cutters, each button is covered by hand and patchworks are pieced together meticulously. Creating something beautiful to stand the test of time is an art form which we pride ourselves on.
Handmade in England
So what exactly does it mean to be handmade in England? To us, British design means an appreciation of heritage, boundary pushing, a celebration of craftsmanship and designs which sit effortlessly in both contemporary and traditional interiors. We hope for nothing more than for you to read that list and agree that each of Coco & Wolf’s Liberty fabric homewares ticks all the boxes. Of course, by consciously clashing textures and colours and using Liberty’s iconic British fabrics there is a natural honouring of the UK’s curious and eclectic design in Coco & Wolf pieces, and we’ve not yet found a home which isn’t made all the more beautiful with the addition of some Liberty touches. Without doubt, British design is about the entire process, which is where handmade in England really comes into its own. The original designs, time-honoured craftsmanship and skill and resulting quality, all ensure handmade in England products shine brightly in the crowded world of design.
