STYLE: 3 Ways to Wear a Liberty Print Blouse

As Gabriel (Coco) Chanel once said:

"Fashion fades; only style remains the same."

When I am designing a new product I always design something that I would like to wear. With the launch of a few womenswear pieces this spring I thought it would be a good start to focus on blouses and to give you some ideas of how I am planing to wear my Liberty Print Kara Ruffle blouse in Edenham.

This blouse was designed to be worn as comfortably as a t-shirt. A boxy shape with cute little cap sleeves to show off the beautiful print. The pleated collar adds a touch of playfulness and looks great when layered under cardigans and jackets. Its an easy blouse to wear and you can easily dress it up or down.

How to style a Liberty print blouse: everyday

EVERYDAY: Wear the blouse with a pair of high waisted jeans, you can either tuck it in or loosely tuck it in. These jeans are a stonewash with a skinny fit leg and a frayed hem from Levi's. A pair of flats or trainers, I love these neutral classic Chanel pumps and a beautiful leather handbag that can fit everything in from Hedley Field.

FESTIVAL DAYS: When the sun is shining I love wearing shorts, I wore an outfit similar to this to Glastonbury last year. A cute pair of shorts work so well with a pretty blouse and when the sun goes down throw on a jacket. This fringed jacket one is from my Kate Moss Topshop days but there are plenty of alternatives available on the high street at the moment. These Isabel Marant sandals are really comfortable and have the Birkenstock look about them with a bit of extra detail.

GARDEN PARTY: There are so many midi skirts around at the moment, we even have some Liberty print ones online. This metallic one always creates a stir when I wear it. They are so easy to wear and make a great alternative to trousers and jeans. I have added a pair of (the most comfortable) wedges to dress this look up. I picked up this Chloe pair from a thrift store in LA a couple of years ago, there are some great block heals around at the moment that give you an extra bit of height but are comfortable enough to wear for the duration of the day!

I hope you have found this post helpful, I have loved putting it together for you.
