The Coco & Wolf Story
Coco & Wolf was born from an enduring love of Liberty fabrics by our founder, Amy. The former fashion buyer started designing and creating beautiful baby and children’s clothing while pregnant with her daughter in 2012, combining her experience, inspiration and love of Liberty fabrics she created a range of Tana Lawn cotton clothes which couldn’t be found in other retailers. In the years that followed, Amy established the baby-clothing brand and began wholesaling collections to luxury retailers up and down the country. It wasn’t long before the production needed a bigger workforce and, passionate about remaining true to the handmade and thoughtfully designed ethos, Amy recruited an incredibly talented team of seamstresses with the same passion for beautifully made clothing.
In 2015, the Coco & Wolf brand evolved further when Amy identified a gap in the luxury bedding market for stylish Liberty fabric bed linen and homewares. She set about creating a collection of products which were luxurious and heirloom-quality and all continued to be handmade in the Somerset design studio. Coco & Wolf were the first UK retailers to produce contemporary Liberty print bedding for babies and children and a year later Amy increased the range to include bedding and lifestyle products for the entire family, in both Liberty Tana Lawn cotton and their sumptuous silks.
Liberty started to take real notice in the year that followed, with the much-loved department store keen to work closely with the incredibly talented and inspiring Amy and her dedicated team. This opened up the opportunity to create even more contemporary and luxurious clothing, interiors and lifestyle products, as well as begin working closely with the Liberty fabrics team to develop Coco & Wolf exclusive recolours of the iconic prints loved worldwide. Tastemaker and Liberty’s then Home & Interiors Buying Manager, Bryony, created the Floribunda collection in 2019, inviting Amy to be included in the 12 incredibly creative female-led brands all bringing unique Liberty fabric pieces to the collection which was a celebration of florals and pushing maximalist boundaries.
During this time, Amy and the Coco & Wolf team continued to design and create seasonal collections across bedding, table linen and homewares as well as clothing. Customers adored the pieces and Coco & Wolf was established as the best Liberty fabric bedding thanks to the contemporary design, eye for triumphant print mixing and handmade luxury nature. In 2020 Liberty became Coco & Wolf’s first homeware stockist in the UK, and the following year Amy was invited to create a concession within the iconic and historic London department store.
Now, in the tenth year of Coco & Wolf the brand has stockists all over the world and comes with an inimitable Liberty loving customer base. The values and ethos remains the same as in the very beginning; every piece is handmade in the Somerset design studio and thoughtfully designed using clean shapes, delicate detailing and contemporary styling. Each piece, be it bedding, table linen, clothing or homewares, is a true celebration of the luxury fabrics Liberty creates, whether it is Liberty designed fabric or recolouring exclusive to Coco & Wolf.
